Career
Leema made her acting debut as the younger version of Navya Nair's character in the Tamil film, Rasikkum Seemane (2010), before going on to appear as Bharathiraja's grand-daughter in Rettaisuzhi (2010) and as Arya's sister in A. L. Vijay's period drama Madrasapattinam (2010). She made her first appearance as a lead heroine in Narthagi (2011), a film on transgenders, before appearing in other low budget Tamil films including Chuda Chuda (2013) and Sooraiyadal (2013). She was also involved in further film titled Vaanara Saenai by Saravanan Sakthi alongside Richard, but the venture was later shelved.
Leema has also appeared in supporting roles in the Malayalam films Pattam Pole (2013) alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Money Ratnam (2014) alongside Fahadh Faasil. In 2015, she appeared in the action thriller Thakka Thakka and the comedy drama Maanga.
